For this IbogaTech episode, HANDSDOWN & LEIGH BOY have created this exclusive mix featuring a selection of some of their recent favourites. The Australian duo of Handsdown & Leigh Boy has a musical journey spanning well over a decade, throwing parties of all sorts and delivering an uncompromising plethora of progressive and emotive techno to dance floors right around the globe. Spearheading the Euphorie Bezirk brand, parents to the notoriously debaucherous Disco 2000 party series and festival favourites, as well as residency at the fabled Tramp Bar for nearly 10 years. After huge festival seasons in oz and successes from their record label Euphorie Bezirk which has had the first 5 releases in the Beatport charts + a number one, in 2021 the duo set there sights on a big year in the studio - with several charting releases of their own on there imprint as well as established European labels such as Dense Audio, Alula Tunes, Techgnosis, and Alpakka, all the while writing music for a fresh set list all original for 2022 - with some huge releases on the horizon.

Alchemy Stage at Boom Festival was nothing short of magical, and MVMB's set was an absolute highlight. They were part of the incredible Iboga day lineup at the Alchemy Circle, alongside label artists Critical Choice, Sphera, Umloud, and Emok. 

MVMB took us on a journey like no other, skillfully crafting a set that not only captivated our senses but also took us on a BPM adventure! Starting at 138 BPM and gradually leading us down to Umloud's smooth vibes at 124 BPM, they proved their mastery in creating a seamless flow that had us all dancing and grooving.

Closing off the year with a big bang in music production circles roughly translates to the release of one fully solid EP. Jossie Telch delivers on this with his last release of 2020 – titled 'Frogs'. With a glossy techno frame that's dabbed by crunchy, psychedelic elements and that unmissable Jossie Telch groove, Frogs brings us those feel good soundwaves in sultry, dance floor banger packaging. Featuring remixes from Gaudi, Electrypnose, James Monro and Luis M, this 5 track EP showcases the versatile spectrum of the melodic techno genre. Gaudi accentuates the more downtempo rhythmic side of the original, Electrypnose takes things up a notch with more mind-bending interpretation, James Monro takes the hypnotic minimal approach, while Luis M raises the foot stomping bassline to irresistible new heights.
