We are ecstatic to announce the triumphant arrival of Swamp Seance Vol. 4 - compiled by Foggyswoggle. With this special Solstice edition, Techgnosis Records' own sonics-slinging swamp mutant conscripts a slew serious artists to assist in summoning some simply standard-setting psytech creations. Exploring the deep, hypnotic and swampy side of the psychedelic techno aesthetic is a hallmark of this beloved VA series, and this edition sees the next step in it's natural evolution.

Spanning 11 tremendous tracks from 16 artists from across the globe, representing those both new and known to the Techgnosis faithful, Swamp Seance Vol. 4 is a guaranteed must-have release of the season. We are very pleased to be welcoming the talented psytechno duo Double Cheese to the Techgnosis Records fold with thier label debut EP, 'Appetizers'. Already known in the scene for thier unique brand of gourmet psychedelic techno, this France-based production team continues to elevate their skills and bring a groovy, fresh twist on the now-classic psytechno flavors we all know and love. Combining delicious sound design and a masterful approach to composition, 'Appetizers' will surely satiate even the most discerning of psytechno palates. Daäna & Brendan Lawless dropped an incredible EP late last year with 'Lawless' (one of our favorites from 2016!) and we simply had to get these two Toronto-based musicians together again for our annual showcase release. With the knowledge these guys would be no doubt putting together some slick, deep melodic sounds, they were slated to open the release even before we heard a second of music. 'Amesha Spenta' is perhaps their most intimate and unforgettable track to date, and we know it will remain a favorite among enthusiasts of the melodic techno genre.
