Eine besondere Inspirationsquelle hatte @patrikberg zu seiner neuesten EP nicht: „Meine Ideen entstehen meist während des Produzierens. Ich weiß selber nie, was am Ende des Tages entsteht.“ Für „Running Numbers“ wählte der Musiker drei Werke aus, die in seinem eigenen Studio produziert wurden: „Ich habe das große Glück, dass mein Studio direkt bei mir im Haus ist, daher ist es nicht weit, und ich kann jeden Moment kreativ nutzen.“ Das Titelstück, „Running Numbers“, ist umgeben von atmosphärischen und hypnotischen Synths, die einen tollen Groove auslösen. Eine ungeheuerliche Bassdrum kombiniert mit tighten Hats macht aus der Nummer etwas Großes. (...) Erscheint am 2. Juni 2017 mit einem Remix von @locoandjam via @filthonacid - das Label von @reinier-zonneveld.

Patrik Berg - Running Numbers

LENSKE’s first release by Farrago, “Risin”, comes packing high velocity punches, including a collaboration with Amelie Lens and a remix from Kobosil. The EP’s A side is packed near 12 minutes of crisp machine driven techno with Farrago’s rattling peak-time “The Riddler” being the first to puncture. The title track, “Risin”, will only be released as the Kobosil remix, a titanium tour of auditory horrors, which also borrows from the EP’s other tracks. Lens’ signature sultry vocal samples on the B side’s “Jealousy” draw the contours of a jaw grinding banger, while “Hidden Power” rounds out the release with a blaring dance floor siren encased in exquisitely unpredictable arrangement. Under his SCB moniker, Scuba released 'Caibu', a twelve track LP of cerebral techno, darkened disco and broken beats on Hotflush in April 2018. It's an album that draws strength from introspection, merging subdued hypnotism, syncopated basslines and visceral ambience to find its centre. The first in a series of remixes to emerge of tracks from the album will be two contrasting interpretations of 'Extinct' by ANNA and Ireen Amnes, due out on the 29th of June.

Spanish artist Andres Campo makes his @intec-digital debut following previous releases on Second State, MOOD, RUKUS and Odd Recordings.

Carl Cox is one of the people who regularly supports his tracks and adding Intec to an already impressive back catalogue of labels, this three track EP showcases Andres Campo at his very best.

The last of three tracks on this EP is the understated “Glaciar” which builds steadily towards a twisted crescendo of sinister FX and growls, before its explosive percussion kicks back in. Keeping you on the edge of your seat, its ominous atmosphere is beyond intense.

Mark Greene is an electronic music producer and qualified sound engineer based in Ireland. After completing his training in the Sound Training Centre in Dublin under Will Kinsella (Hybrasil), Mark began signing some early tracks to various labels in Europe. Quite soon after, Mark was releasing tracks on well established labels like Bush Records, Naked Lunch, Elektrax and Carl Cox’ longstanding imprint Intec Digital. A string of popular releases allowed Mark to play gigs across Europe with regular trips to Amsterdam, in particular for the annual ADE each Autumn.

An avid drummer as a child, Mark has always had an affinity for heavy kick-drums in his tracks. As the years have gone by his productions have gained some bpm and Mark’s music is now finding its way into the hands of DJs at the forefront of the industrial techno scene. Rebekah, I Hate Models, Theo Nasa, Chris Liebing, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Amelie Lens and more are supporting his productions of late, particularly his original tracks on his newly established DORCHA Records - meaning ‘dark’ in the Irish language.

Mark launched DORCHA in 2020 to circumnavigate the typical months-long process of releasing on other labels. DORCHA is a place for Mark to release tracks on his own schedule and experiment with various different styles and creative approaches. The aim of the label is to identify new artists and build a small roster to carry the DORCHA flag.

Each month you can tune into Mark’s Progress Radio show for one hour of unreleased music from himself and some of the best producers in techno. Broadcasting on several stations around the world, the show will reach the 100 episode milestone in 2022.
