I was invited out to Rochester by some homies for their Body Language event which focuses on showcasing women and queer DJs in Western New York. It was the Saturday after election day which had been affecting me heavily. I did a bit of candle magic before I started, for the protection of everyone in attendance, and an attempt to conjure the transformative energy that we all needed. The energy in this place was wild, such a treat to play!

"Grabé un set con una vibra bien club, cargado de energía y pensado para dar esa dosis de motivación. Pero, más allá de eso, también es un reflejo de mis últimos descubrimientos musicales.
El punto de partida es especial: arranco con el remix B2 del productor mexicano SOOS con el track “DJS También Lloran”, que forma parte de mi próximo EP Discodrama y sale mañana (21 de marzo). Desde ahí, me lanzo a un viaje de una hora explorando distintos ritmos y texturas, mezclando lo nuevo con lo inesperado.
Muchos de los tracks que usé en este set nunca los había tocado antes, así que todo fluyó como una gran improvisación. Y, en realidad, eso es lo que mejor me representa cuando me invitan a poner música en alguna fiesta: dejarme llevar, conectar con la pista y construir algo único en el momento."
