1 Samuel 16:14-23
“The Soothing Sound”

Most Christians have seen things they wish to unsee. Maybe it is an abusive situation,  death, or war. There are not many answers when things like this occur. Some try to forget. Others forge ahead tackling whatever stands in the way. Then there are those that try to deal by retreating to a place of comfort. For Saul, it was the music that David played for him. This would give temporary relief. However, the greatest relief for everyone is Jesus Christ. He is the only shepherd that can lead one to still waters to find rest and peace.
