"Dreamer" is a song of mine from Set 3 of 19 sets, and I swapped guitars from a synthesized Fender Strat to the clean sound of my acoustic 12-string Ovation, using two external mics - one for the guitar and one for my voice.  I was never happy with the effects I had available for the Fender Strat, and preferred the acoustic sound of the 12-string Ovation anyway - and recorded all the rest of my songs using it.  By Set 3 I had more experience in this recording process and my voice is noticeably more relaxed, and I began to actually enjoy this process of singing, playing and recording my own songs! This melody has been bouncing around my head for several weeks now. The song is not a comment about any particular viewpoint or belief. It is merely an observation. 

Conflict is part of human social connections. However, it seems whenever there is a cause, there is always a consequence. And lately those consequences seem to involve innocent people as victims. 
 
Whether it be a religious conflict, state-against-state warfare, terrorism, or civilian mass shootings, it is the innocent who likely fall victim to a perpetrator out to prove a point. 

These are strange times.
