Pure Instinct

Amani Lapé is an Afro House DJ/producer orginating from the US.  Growing up with his father from South America and mother from New Jersey,  Amani’s eclectic/rhythmic musical taste began at a very young age.

His Inspiration comes from deep percussions and soulful vocals of the Afro House genre. He is influenced by some of the pioneers in the industry such as Black Coffee, Argento Dust and Shimza amongst many more.

The eccentric Amani sound is a collection of cities he’s gravitated to throughout his years traveling the world. From roaming the techy streets of Berlin to falling deep in the London house scene, his mixes remain captivating, taking you on a  mental world tour.

Some of the many prestigious venues Amani has appeared in includes his residency at Four Seasons and guest appearances for Maserati, Solymar, Neasy, Movenpick, Euphoria at Calexico, Rehab Bahrain and others.

Amani has played with several international names but most recently playing alongside THEMBA motivated him to take his passion to new heights. Shortly after, he began producing music and signed with the legendary Nervous Records releasing his first track “Venté Conmigo.” This emerging artist is wasting no time to make a name for himself in the electronic music scene.
