Making his sophomore appearance for the label, Pat Bedeau teams up with long time friend and singer Leon Dorrill who also made his debut on the label with the Rhemi boys in mid 2017. Cool, smooth chords, slick bass line and hyped up drums is the order of the day with this record as it sure does not disappoint. Leon drifts and glides on the record effortlessly without having to say much to fill every bar with vocal. Instead, a few choice words and an infectious melody is all that's needed to draw you in to the sonic funky sounds and before you know it you're up on the floor grooving away. Its a pleasure to have Pat Bedeau once again on the label to showcase his career and the musical journey he is on and we hope you enjoy the is record as much as we do!

When you hear a track as good as ‘No Price’, it is unsurprising to find out it was made by one of America’s most established music producers. Arthur Baker, who has set out to get dancefloors moving since the 1970s, has collaborated with musicians such as New Order, Afrika Bambaataa and the Pet Shop Boys, and also works under the alias Slam Dunk’d. The framework of the instantly recognisable ‘No Price’ came from an unfinished cut Baker had produced 35 years prior, and has all the makings of a feel-good disco record. With vocals from award-winning Canadians Chromeo, the collaboration between them and Slam Dunk’d makes for a truly special record. Now released on Glitterbox alongside three remixes, you can see why it still works as a dancefloor stomper. Armand Van Helden’s re-work is a real stand-out, as it intertwines genres seamlessly to give the track new life. Robosonic and Art Of Tones also bring their remixing abilities to the table, creating a dynamic and exciting release destined for the dancefloor.

Slam Dunk'd featuring Chromeo & Al-P 'No Price' (Armand Van Helden Mix)

Hifi Sean’s 2018 record ‘Lost without U’, that featured Inner City’s Paris Grey on vocals, was a soulful disco lament fitting for the end of a long hot summer. Now, friends of Hifi Sean, Horse Meat Disco take on remixing duties to deliver their take on this bittersweet love song, and give it new life for 2019. With a string of upcoming Glitterbox releases themselves, it’s unsurprising that Horse Meat Disco take the job on with ease, stripping back the live instrumentals of the original. Their remix has a more club-inclined sound without losing the soulful spirit of Hifi Sean’s work.

Next it´s the Lovebirds giving us The Path 2011. This might sound familiar, done very successfully from Ninetoes before, but Lovebirds did this
cheeky thingy already in 2011! We have that feeling that it might be big again this year….
We are so happy to welcome back another old friend of ours, Matty Heilbronn ( where have you been hiding? )
