Great vibe on this. Bass as you indicated is killer.  It's a nice image of the "rescue/get you" as well.  Nice way to say it.

Its a hit! I have no doubt this tune would have found its way to the airwave in the late 70s, early 80s.  Classic vibes, but still relevant. Love the bridge changes and just vamping on the title line
