Great song man. Really enjoyed reliving the memories. Really like the chords you strung together. They really bring out the emotion. And yes, the vocals are on point. Really well done.

So much good here, Mark.  Rather than comment on the production (which is fabulous), I'll offer up this: you're doing what the country music industry tries to do and generally fails at, which is to give something relatable and nostalgic but not be trite.  And for once, I can give you a muse that you remind me of: Bruce Hornsby.  Not so much the piano playing (because...well...Bruce Hornsby), but the vocal sensibility, lyrics, melody, and harmony choices.
