An acoustic sketch of my first FAWN submission - which was written using the prompt for Feb,"Secret",  provided by the Windy_Harper song challenge.
I find writing to prompts very different than my usual "style" of writing - rather than finding a way to capture something I want to say, I just follow where the song tales me.

Secrets (1st FAWM, Windy Feb)

A very early draft of a song written for FAWM. 
I'm not used to not spending time with lyric and structure before recording...I assume if this survives, it will be somewhat altered.
(I never wrote a song with "doot doots" in it hahahaha..sorry, felt like a fun thing )

Only Down Till You Get Back Up - FAWM 4 - 2023

A song that kind of popped into my head - I used it to try to get some time in with multi-tracking on Logic (I'm very new to it...like, really, really new 😆 ), but, baby steps... 
Anyway - I'm not good at love songs, but, I suppose this is one. 
It's kind of a placeholder - the name/idea will stay - lyrics are redundant, so some of those will change - maybe a bridge. And, definitely an ending...but I had a little time, and figured it's good to get it in sooner, rather than later.

An instrumental, which is something I've never messed with. 
If this song survives, it will be with a bit of a different structure (hindsight being what it is, and all)

I made a couple poor decisions...and after a year in musical isolation, my chops are not clean...but I am OK with how this came out.
