MARK RYANS
Born and raised in Kampala Uganda’s capital on the 19th 0f December 1986 .Popularly known as Mark Ryans , Mark Ryans Mubiru is an economics graduate, music producer and reggae artist. With his unique husky soulful and emotional voice he has managed to get his way into people's hearts wherever his music gets .A passionate and focused man about his craft , he spends most of the time writing and producing music.
He has mastered his art with inspirational uplifting lyrics and hooks. He writes and produces his work .He is very melodic and says his life is a melody .

A self taught guitar player, Mark Ryans started out in a school choir in 2000 .He recorded his first studio album at the end 2005.It was a Dancehall album named Till The Morning Light .

This album got just fair rotation on the local air waves though it had potential hit songs due to failure to get the necessary financial requirements to market and promote it. 

He had a recording break from mid 2006 to mid 2008 to concentrate on his university education 

In 2008 Mark Ryans went back to studio with a totally changed musical direction and re-branded from dancehall music to pure conscious reggae music .
In 2010 he got signed to XSCAPE STAR AGENCY one of the top recording labels in Uganda
He soon left the label after what he called limited energy to his project from the company.
`,the company wasn't really seeing the same road that I was seeking so it was just a matter of time to mutually call it off .I was not getting the energy that made me sign that document and I was getting darker and darker for me as an artist .Seemed I needed the company more than it needed me and I don't deal that way .So I just carried my cross and  peacefully moved on” .says the soft spoken artist when asked why he left the company that everyone thought would get him the much awaited breakthrough .He then opened his own recording and entertainment company named KONKRIT MUSIK to run his music and help raw but talented artists

He has over the years worked with producers Imon and Timo of Southcyde studios and producer Kingsley . He has performed all over Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya and Tanzania. Reggae being a live band music he has over the years been backed by the Blood Brothers Band and the ZAWE Band of the famous Sarah Zawedde
