This is another in a year-long series of experiments in merging elements of generative, ambient, and jazz. This one definitely leans more toward jazz than ambient, with drums/percussion and a long improvised solo dominating the composition. Being a drummer, I enjoy experimenting with indefinite time signatures and morphing polyrhythms, which also feature prominently here.

Sleep. Work. Eat. Repeat. This was somewhat the most routine past week I had. And that's fine with me. Easy going is nice. No stress. No pressure. I would assume this is good for health as well. And, thus, we are dwelling into the modern takes of the past again tonight. Music inspired by the golden age of electronic music. Nowadays also put under the umbrella name of Space Ambient, I'd say. Could be Berlin School, could be Krautrock. Anything, really, that feels good and steady. Frozen Motion In Time

Starting with the Neutron (with a bit of S&H on the delay time and FREQ MOD), some Digitakt samples come along. Then the Erebus delivers a nice bass. After that more samples and a simple Vermona Lancet sequence come along. A bit of Model D is following and after that some Kawai K4, Microkorg. Also the Teisco 60F, CS1X and JP-8000+Streichfett deliver some strings. All one take, recorded on the Zoom R24 with some F(X)riends.
