For many the original summer of love was 1967. The second summer of love was 1988/89. To me everyone has their own summer of love, a period in time where they first found clubbing, the most amazing music, new friends, a new way of life - something that stays with you forever.

My summer of love was the year 1999 and 20 years on this mix contains a load of my favourite trance tracks that made my year. Some might be from earlier than 1999 but all were being banged out and contributed towards the greatest musical year of my life. 

Yes there was house and hard house and even more trance tunes that featured heavily that year, but maybe they'll come in a later mix.
