Late At Night

After a visit to Adam's Fine Wines Emporium and recording facility  from Senor Phil Cooper, I was kindly asked to provide a mix for his excellent Nu Northern Soul podcast. Blue Note jazz was the task in hand. Unfortunately as is the case with me, I got super carried away and spent hours cutting pasting and scratching some of my favourite Blue Note drums,riffs and improvs and came up with a mix which has kind of had an interest taken in it commercially. Don't know about anyone else but I'm getting more disillusioned with SoundCloud with every change they make. The new algorithm and its 'recommendations' ignore mixes and any tracks over 10 mins, they've removed the New & Hot charts and replaced them with irrelevant crap like "Events near you", and this new UI has me searching for a way to revert it.

I am a passionate man who from a very young age has been  interested in various Genres of Music , avidly seeking music that interests me . Having a vast Vinyl and CD collection , Soundcloud has become an extension of this . 
Ska , Reggae , Tamla Motown , Stax and Atlantic got my Mojo started . Followed by David Bowie , Lou Reed and Roxy Music . This was also cemented by Youth Culture alliance . 
Having been a prolific and to a lesser extent today , a Club attendee my taste for music is on going . At various stages of my life I have played my music as a Dj .
For a period I was contributor for a magazine that specialises in Soul old and new . It is called Manifesto , published in the UK . A fantastic enjoyable and informative specialist publication .
