“Ironic Bill” is a story, put to song, about a fictitious homeless man forced to live in the shadows of society, and of the very government that is tasked to help those like him. A person whom “civilization” has effectively discarded.

Old Bill’s entire life is surrounded by the irony of his very existence, and by those who cannot, or will not see him as a sentient human being. One with a kind heart, a courageous soul, and a deep understanding of nature and humanity.

Ironic Bill

One day I was practicing and ended up playing When Johnny Comes Marching Home. After some time I decided to develop a surf guitar version for fun and learning more about recording software, This is the result. My first larger multi track mix in Cakewalk by BandLab. One day I may look back at this recording and cringe- but for now it's the best I could do to get all the parts distinct enough when I needed to ;) I play the Squire Jazzmaster on rythme, Fender Stratocaster on the other parts, and an Ibanez Mikro Bass through a Focusrite Scarlet Solo. Drums are the S1 Cakewalk VST midi instrument plug in.
