We are overjoyed to present "Pilgrim's Diary," the long-awaited second artist album from Gregory Esayan. Here at Elliptical Sun, we love to showcase many artists perspectives on a single project. Following up on the popular release from Kloset, we bring you the remix package of “Foxglove”. 

Featuring some new faces to the label, as well as some shining stars in the Elliptical Sun Family, each release brings to you a different take on the excellent original. 

With Dave Lewis’s Remix, we have a more trance orientated sound, with a sawtooth bass and uplifting chords that shine through. Secondly, making his highly anticipated label debut, the host of our new radio show, “We Are Elliptical”, Bryn Liedl puts his signature sound on the track, which will surely please any listeners ears. Finally, we have the return of Firas Tarhini, with a downtempo progressive sound that has been proven to be such a success in the scene.

Following on from his Anjunadeep Explorations debut last summer, emerging German DJ/producer Ben Böhmer returns to the label for his first solo outing with a trio of melodic weapons on ‘Morning Falls EP’. The EP opens with the rolling melodies of ‘Morning Falls’ before drifting into peak time club cut ‘After Earth’. Böhmer rounds off the EP with the laid back grooves of ‘Velvet Rebellion’ which also features his friend and frequent collaborator Wood.

On the heels of a career-defining year, Andromedha continues to ascend the ranks of the trance & progressive house elite, courtesy of a bevy of exceptional new releases and remixes in recent months on esteemed imprints Black Hole, JOOF and Planet Love. His two-track offering here, "Rise," is a long overdue follow up to last January's "Watching The Red Clouds Passing By" release on our imprint, which introduced listeners to his emotive and layered compositional style, for which the Polish sensation has now made a name. 

The anthemic "Rise" served as the emotional climax of Jacob Henry's recent "Silk Music Showcase 06" mix; this DJ-friendly version fully showcases the gorgeously constructed arrangement. A stormy bassline in the early going is soon joined by a hypnotic lead theme and a series of gentle, siren-like vocals. The musical tension created by these elements is finally released in the main breakdown, when a triumphant piano theme cuts through the mix and ultimately carries the arrangement into an ecstatic drop.

The brand-new "Away From Heavens" jets out of the gate with an adrenalin-inducing groove; evocative pads and mellifluous, celestially inspired melodies reinforce the suspenseful soundscape. In the main breakdown, a vintage progressive trance breakdown emerges, including the introduction of a rapturous new lead theme, which is enveloped by seemingly myriad melodic layers. The electrifying drop offers an especially intense catharsis for the listener.

Delivering a classic progressive interpretation of the original, with beautiful pads, delicate keys and expressive plucks, building to an emotive climax and completing this wonderful release perfectly.
