For Samedia Trax 004 we welcome Bristol DJ's/Producers Jambada & Waggles to celebrate theri debut release - Busua E.P. 

They met and performed together in the Bristol club and rave scene, going on to work and perform alongside one another across the UK festival circuit. DJ’ing led them to production, music led them to travel, and their journeys led them back to this collaborative project. 

The E.P features Ghanaian vocalists Bodaman Naste, Yung Locke & Gana Bwoy, from Busua, in the western region of Ghana. A place where festival culture has made its home. It boasts an inclusive music scene, welcoming surf culture and community spirit. It’s here that Jambada formed an international partnership, to create a blend of High Life music with an electronic undertone. Coupled with Waggle's expertise as a remix artist and producer, a fruitful collaboration is born. Watch this space for more music.

Dj Marcon & The Palo Santos are being heavily influenced from west African Afrobeat and jazz-fusion genres. Their band has been evolving during the past months and are now showcasing on this release two fresh tracks produced and recorded live in the studio! New musicians have been added to the band and are first time ever introducing Afrikaan/English female vocals on the self titled song!

With this release you cannot go wrong! The groove is not missing at all on their music, Afrobeat is blended with Funk, Jazz and Fusion and all is blended together in a modern arrangement/production, while those mighty brass sections are leading the way!

Towlie DJ's debut EP "Break Free" showcases his love of all things drum and bass. Across the 3 tracks, the range of the genre is shown with clear influences from classic jungle, liquid and halftime.

"Break Free" has all the trappings of a summer anthem. The title track of the EP winds through the gears with big synths, lush piano and warm basslines. All rounded off with stunning vocals that are sure to get stuck in your head.

"Never Know" takes listeners back to the heady days of '94 through classic jungle sounds with the polish of modern production.

Rounding off the EP is "Burner", a halftime tune pulling inspiration from the diverse worlds of synthwave and dancehall.
