Interesting thoughts in the introduction. As musicians, we're obviously very concerned about AI. The only thing I know is that we need to study the subject if we want to remain ‘masters of the game’. In the meantime, nice track with this CA2600 plugin :)

A Stillness That Shivers

August 2025 Currently on residency in Italy !
All sounds here (melody, texture, harmony, percussive sounds etc) are made from a field recording of the dogs in the valley below my balcony... well except for my whistle : ) 
They have been my sonic companions
Residency is coming to end, its been a month of complete experimentation with more than 20 little sketches done, all using field recordings captured around Montegiovi, Tuscany. With these little works I am experimenting freely with what can be produced from each days sounds - manipulating them and stitching them back together with the aim of producing a long format work at the end of the residency. The idea is to have them done by the end of the day (or night) then move on to something fresh the next day.
I am truly thankful for this opportunity that has been provided for me by the Salamanca Arts Centre in Tasmania and Cultivate Projects/La Baldi residency in Italy and The USA.
And of course the wonderful people of Montegiovi !
