Sainsonic feat. Synthesizer V Eri - Can You Wait For Me

The story begins with me wanting to do something together with my kids.
So I had the idea of making a song and, without any idea how, I just started. It's worth mentioning that my son is a die-hard fan of drum and bass (including some subgenres). What kind of stuff, I asked myself, exactly that.
I come from the past, back when techno and stuff like that was still around. I understood that. But this? “Oh man, no clue.” So I created a beat... and it wasn't in time. I thought to myself, that sounds really nice, this could be something...

Until recently, I had nothing to do with this kind of music. But now I think it's really cool.

Curiosity

I didn’t think this song would see the light of day at first. It was the first track I attempted on this new system, but I couldn’t get the vocal to transfer into the DAW. After troubleshooting with a few other songs, I discovered through trial and error that I had missed a particular setting, which fixed the issue. The song’s structure is very simple: it’s built around a fat bass, a couple of presets named ‘red morning skies,’ an Odyssey 5th, and Angel Strings. I added an analog sync delay to the voice, which I ducked with a channel strip and left as originally set. Once I imported everything into the DAW, I added transitions, adjusted EQ, mixed, and made any other tweaks needed. The theme describes my keyboard controller transporting me to another reality with super saw birds. It’s one of my weirder pieces, and I’m learning to release these experiments without worrying so much.

Notes from the Artist - I have thought about this song for such a long time. I wanted to write something that wasn’t just another song, but something that gave you hope.
This is the song you play when you suddenly doubt yourself. It’s the song you play for courage to walk away from something or someone. 
It’s the song you play at night when you are alone with your thoughts, and the voice in your head casts doubt on your most difficult decision.
