• Our prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon) came to take us away from every lowly and evil manners and characteristics, and to guide us to every noble and lofty manners and characteristics.

• Don't search for the faults of others.
• Striving to have that secret good deed that no one knows about.
• The righteous used to fear showing-off, but nowadays so many people displaying their acts of worship on social media!
• The emotional and powerful words our mother 'A'aishah (may Allāh be pleased with her) said on her deathbed. 
• Always have righteous and sincere intentions and you will be rewarded much.

A profound and beautiful statement from Imām ibn al-Qayyim (d.751AH), may Allāh have mercy upon him, regarding the Qadr (Decree) of Allāh.

Do your wealth and children distract you from the remembrance and obedience of Allāh?

• How the Jews knew about shirk (polytheism).
• The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) instructing the Muslims to swear and take oaths only by Allāh alone.
• The Jews knew the truthfulness of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him).
• The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) forbade swearing or taking an oath by other than Allāh.

• From a person’s reverence for Allāh is that he speaks the truth when swearing by Allāh.

Jumu'ah Khutbah 09/01/2026  An act of shirk which some Muslims fall into unknowingly.

• Seize your life through righteousness before it slips away from your grasp.

Hold onto the rope of Allāh 25/05/2008 By al-'Allāmah, Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jābiree (may Allāh have mercy upon him).

• The month in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) fasted frequently.
• A month that many people are heedless of.
• Two categories of people who are not forgiven.
• A powerful narration from al-Hasan al-Basrī when he saw two people arguing.
• Our tongues move more than our feet, so we must safeguard it from lying, tale-carrying, backbiting, and the like.

Jumu'ah Khutbah 23/01/2026  The month of Sha'bān is a preparation for Ramadān.

• The One who created and fashioned us is the only One worthy of worship.
• It is only Allāh who can remove our difficulties.
• Allāh calls us to return to Him in repentance, so don't give up repenting.
• True success belongs to the one who dies upon Tawheed.
• When we say Allāhu Akbar (Allāh is the Greatest), do we truly hold that meaning in our hearts as it deserves?
• We ask Allāh to guide us to the Straight Path, but do we strive to follow it?
• Charity is not limited to wealth alone.
• Many are well-versed in worldly affairs, yet ignorant of their purpose of life.
• When you read the Qur'ān regularly, you will see a change in your life.


Jumu'ah Khutbah  30/01/2026.  "And they did not make a just estimate of Allāh as He deserves."

A glimpse into the lives of the ten who were promised Paradise (other than the Four Khaleefs).

• These specific ten were mentioned by name explicitly.
• Ahlus-Sunnah believe that all the Companions are in Paradise.
• What is the definition of a Companion of the Messenger of Allāh (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him).
• The Companions (may Allāh be pleased with them all) are the best of generations.
•Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) warned against speaking ill of any of them.
•Talhah ibn 'Ubaydillāh was a giant among the giants of Islām.
• He was a great soldier and warrior. 
• Many lands were conquered during his lifetime.
• He was one of the six whom ʿUmar (may Allāh be pleased with him) appointed to the Shūrā (committee) to choose the next Khaleefah.
• Talhah was known to be a noble and truthful businessman.
• Talhah excelled in archery.
• If you want blessings in your business, then be truthful and easy-going.
• How did he accept Islām?
A beautiful benefit regarding the name Ahmad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him).
He made Hijrah to Madeenah and was a great caller to Islām.
• Talhah stood firm and defended the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) at the Battle of Uhud, where over twenty-four arrows pierced his body.
•Talhah was described as the “walking martyr upon the earth.”
• A beautiful statement from Talhah regarding sincerity.
• Talhah was among the bravest of people.
•The praise of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) for Talhah.
• Talhah’s tears and forbearance.
• He died in the year 36AH was sixty-two years old when he passed away, may Allāh be pleased with him.








Lesson One. The life of Talhah bin 'Ubaydillāh (may Allāh be pleased with him)

The life of Zubayr bin al-'Awwām (may Allāh be pleased with him).

• His nickname: The Helper of Allāh's Messenger (peace & blessings of Allāh be upon him).
• Zubayr was related to the Prophet (peace & blessings of Allāh be upon him).
• He became a Muslim at an early age. 
• He was firm and steadfast upon Islām. 
• He made the first migration to Ethiopia.
• His son was the first Muslim child to be born in Madeenah- 'Abdullāh bin Zubayr.
• His wife was Asmā bint Abee Bakr.
• Zubayr was from the Fuqhā (Jurists) among the Companions.
• He was known for his bravery, piety and fulfilling his trusts.
• He would help the poor much.
• Zubayr would speak little but would do much good deeds.
• Zubayr was known to be calm and tranquil.
• 'Umar bin al-Khattāb's praise for Zubayr.
• He was gentle with the people. 
• Zubayr fought in all the battles that the Prophet (peace & blessings of Allāh be upon him) participated in.
• He was killed oppressively in the year 36AH.



Lesson Two. The life of Zubayr bin al-'Awwām (may Allāh be pleased with him).

A glimpse into the lives of the ten who were promised Paradise (other than the Four Khaleefs).

• There were other Companions who mentioned explicitly by name that they will be in Paradise. 
• He became a Muslim at young age, 16 years old.
• Sa'd was from the first and foremost of the Muslims, from the Muhājiroon.
• Sa'd was the first in Islām to throw a bow for the sake of Allāh. 
• Allāh’s Messenger (peace & blessings of Allāh be upon him) made du'ā for him.
• Sa'd's supplications were accepted when he would supplicate. 
• We should be humble.
• We should seek honour with Allāh.
• Sa'd's beautiful statements.
• Sa'd was brave and a great warrior. 
• Sa'd: It is not the enemy I fear for you, but I fear for you, your sins.
• Sa'd's heartfelt statement after the Muslims defeated the Romans.


Lesson Three. The life of Sa'd bin Abī Waqqās (may Allāh be pleased with him)

• The believers rejoice at the arrival of Ramadān.
• Ibn Rajab: How can the believer not be delighted at the coming of Ramadān?
• Has there ever been a time that compares to this tremendous month in terms of blessings and opportunities for forgiveness?
• How can we prepare ourselves and ready our hearts for this blessed month?
• What has happened to our connection with the Book of Allāh?
• When will we stop our sins and stay away from everything that jeopardises our eemaan (faith)?

The life of Abu 'Ubaydah bin al-Jarrāh (may Allāh be pleased with him)

• His name is 'Aamir bin 'Abdulliāh ibn al-Jarrāh. 
• He was known as the Trustworthy one of this Ummah.
• He made the first Hijrah migration to Ethiopia. 
• He accepted Islām at the hands of Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq. 
• Madeenah was known as Dār al-Eemaan (The Abode of Faith).
• Abu 'Ubayadah was known to be from the best of the warriors.
• Abu 'Ubayadah put Allāh first.
• Abu Ubaydah teeth came out when removing pieces of defence weaponry from the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) cheeks with his teeth.
• Abu 'Ubayadah was sent to teach the people of Yemen.
• The simple living of Abu 'Ubaydah.
• The humility of Abu 'Ubaydah. 
• Different types of Martyrdom.
• What 'Umar bin al-Khattāb wished for.

Lesson Four. The life of Abu 'Ubaydah bin al-Jarrāh and The life of Sa'eed bin Zayd (may Allāh be pleased with them both).

• Ramadān is a tremendous opportunity to attain righteousness.
• Taqwā (piety) is the key to all success.
• Fasting is a shield.
• The opportunity to do good and avoid evil is made easier, as the devils are chained.
• There is immense reward in fasting and standing in night prayer.
• Do not miss these opportunities.
• Ramadān is a time to increase in generosity.
• Increase in reciting the Qur’ān and reflecting upon it.
• Fasting and the Qur’ān will intercede on the Day of Resurrection.
• We should strive to perfect our worship.
• There is nothing comparable to fasting.
• Just as we protect our fast from what invalidates it, we must also avoid what diminishes its reward.
• The Salaf would diligently safeguard their fasts.
• Strive to perform the prayers in congregation in the masjid.

• Our record is being written, a precise book that contains everything we have done in this life.
• If we find evil in the Hereafter, we will have no one to blame but ourselves.
• And if we find good, then all praise belongs to Allāh who guided us to it.
• On that Day, a person will bear witness against himself.
• How great will be the joy of those who receive their record in their right hand.
• The time for action is now, do not delay.
• How swiftly our lives are passing. 
• We are nothing but a number of fixed days; whenever a day passes, a part of us passes with it.
• In our graves, nothing will remain with us except our deeds.
•The reality is that each of us will only receive what we have sent forward for our Hereafter.
• Sincere repentance is success.
• Seize the opportunity of Ramadān to draw closer to Allāh.
• Never despair of the mercy of Allāh.
•The believer worships Allāh between hope and fear.
• And remember: actions are judged by their endings.

• The du'ā of the righteous predecessors six months before Ramadān and six months after Ramadān.
