The Fifth Principle: Identifying who are the Awliyā’ (the close and beloved friends of Allāh) and who are the Awliyā’ of Shaytān.

The reward of the Awliyā’ of Allāh.

The distinguishing qualities of the Awliyā’ of Allāh.

What is the true sign of one’s love for Allāh?

The Awliyā’ of Allāh fear Him upon knowledge, not upon ignorance.

• The sixth and final principle: Refuting the doubt that the Qur'ān and Sunnah can only be understood by the Mujtahid Mutlaq (the highest level of jurist).

• This explanation is not a in depth tafseer, but enough so that we can ponder and reflect every time we recite this Sūrah.

• The entirety of the Qur'ān goes back to what is found in the meanings of Sūrah al-Fātihah. 

• Sūrah al-Fātihah has within it two types of cures: a cure for the hearts and a cure for the bodies.

• Sūrah al-Fātihah has within it the 3 categories of Tawheed.

• The two types of du'ā.

• The proof that Allāh sent prophets derived from Sūrah al-Fātihah.

• How many people were ill and suffering from illnesses but then became healthy as a result of making du'ā to Allāh.

• His nickname- the possessor of two lights.
• He made the first migration to Abyssinia and also the second migration to Madeenah.
• He had 16 children, 9 boys and 7 daughters. 
• He possessed tremendous shyness and even the angels were shy in his presence.

• Islām spread far and wide during the reign of 'Uthmān. 
• The tears of 'Uthmān at the graveyard. 
• 'Uthmān's martyrdom was testified by the prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him).

• His full name.
• He was the first of the young to become Muslim.
• His kunya was Abul Hasan, he was also called Abu Turāb by the prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him).
• His mum used to call him as a nickname- Haydara which means lion.
• He had 14 sons and 18 daughters.
• Hasan and Hussayn (may Allāh be pleased with them) are the most well-known of his children. 
• 'Ali was known for his bravery. 
• 'Umar selected 'Alī to be one of the six Shurā members (committee) to decide who would be the next Khaleef after he passes away.
• 'Alī aided all the Khulafā during their reigns.
• 'Alī was from the best of judges.
• 'Alī was from those who prayed towards the two Qiblahs (prayer directions).
• He made Hijrah to Madeenah. 
• He partook in the battle of Al-Badr.
• He was from the ten who were promised Paradise by name.
• He was was from those who gave the pledge Under the Tree.
• Some of his many virtues.
• His implementation of the Sunnah of the prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) even in the subtle issues.
