• How Allāh allows His servant to be used for goodness.

Text of the ḥadīth:

عنْ [أبي هُريرةَ] رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، أنَّ رَجُلاً قالَ للنَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَوْصِني. قالَ: لاَ تَغْضَبْ. فَرَدَّدَ مِرارًا، قالَ: لاَ تَغْضَبْ. رواه البخاريُّ.

From Abū Hurayrah that a man said to the Prophet ﷺ, "Advise me." He said, "Do not become angry" and (the man) repeated his request a number of times and he said, "Do not become angry." [Related by al-Bukhārī] 


Questions:

1. What if someone violates your honour or disrespects you, how do you deal with this?
2. What is the difference between controlling your anger and not acting upon what your anger calls you to do?
