This music (Music Africana) is a cry for uhuru (freedom) against the grip of poor governance. It speaks for ndugu zetu (our brothers and sisters) whose liberty is stifled by selfish leaders. Je kuhusu (what about?) their struggles? These sounds challenge the status quo, questioning kuhusu uhuru (the reality of freedom) when corruption reigns. This is a soundtrack for liberation, echoing the yearning of kuhusu ndugu zetu (about our people) for true freedom and justice. Feel the urgency, hear the call for change!
