Hi, I'm a keys player and I like making up grooves to existing jazz and latin standards. Over the last few years I've been mainly working on original numbers.

It's just me in the music you hear, I play all the parts off a keyboard recording in midi and layer up into the finished version.

I started playing the piano as a kid , then took up the trombone and played for fun in various local amateur bands and orchestras. Then at 18 went to college and didn't do anything  musically  for many years. Started playing the saxophone and tuba more recently, and in the last four years or so got back into the keyboard which is now my main instrument.

I like making up jazzy  late night music & music you can listen to when travelling. Sounds like a strange thing but I find the most enjoyable part of a holiday is the travelling part, whether that's on a plane , train or even a car on a quiet road with some nice views. Looking through a window with a changing view, in a bubble of suspended time between two worlds, that's what travelling feels like to me, and I like to write music that sounds that way - http://soundcloud.com/markd54321/361-stolen-moments-320kbps . My love for people and my love for simply having a family will push me through to my goals.  I haven't attained it yet, but I can guarantee you I will have a family some day.  I forget what it's like to have a family.  I forget what it's like to be truly loved.  I forget what its like to truly love some one.  Do you remember what it's like to place your heart into the hands of another?  I can't remember.... To know that person will love you no matter what.  To know that person will walk to the end of the earth for you like you did for them.  What's it like to have true love?  I do not know.  I can only lust for it.  I can only hope i can find my happiness some where in this life, by just being me, not trying to attain something just because its what society believes in, but because it's what I believe in.  I want love.  I want a family.  These are my goals and I will never stop until I achieve them.  People can have goals of money, fame, houses, computers, cars, boats...what does it really mean if you can't share anything with someone you love?  I'm not talking about a one night stand...I'm not talking about that girl that is a good flirt and will make you feel happy for the moment.  I'm talking about a woman who I can give my everything to, and know she will accept it because she is in love with me just as much as I am her.  I only care about bettering myself because it betters her.  I only care for myself because I really only care about her.  I am going to find my family some day....I know some one is out there with the same thoughts as I.  Since love conquers all..and love is the only thing I have set in my heart....I can't go wrong.
