in the summer of 2021 i released my 4th ep, titled "MOM".
this album and its release was dedicated to my beautiful momma Terry Lynne, who passed away from cancer in the summer of 2020.

i did a long form & special release which began on her birthday, July 3rd and concluded 5 days later (one day for each track) now that those who were a part of the release have enjoyed it's exclusivity for over half a year, i am finally ready to share with the rest of the world. thank you so much for listening.

On to our latest edition, Code Indigo call it day with David Wright and Robert Fox reunited again for their final album 'Take The Money and Run'.
The cinematic scores of Maciej Braciszewski grace us once again and becoming a regular is the one and only Stan Dart. I think he’s trying to move in permanently.
A blast from the past from Neuronium & Vangelis, when they came to meet in London 1981. 
Some beautiful music from La Luna e Le Stelle, and Erik Travis’s collaboration with Megan McCarty, the brooding ambient sounds of Secondface, the very popular Pyramid Peak, performing in the UK at the Awakenings recently in the first round of concerts for 2014.  HawkDream is back supported by Ivan Black, who have recorded several new sounds together, from our EMMA label, music from Kelvin Smith and Midera’s melodic down-tempo electronica.  Bringing their music for the first time here, are Evadez, Didier Dewachtere, Phrozenlight and Loptus.
As we say bon voyage to the members of Code Indigo, enjoy the opening track ‘Eden to Corruption’.

G’day everyone, Mick’s finally made it down under, mixing with the banana benders, the Queensland residents
Based now near Brisbane on the sunshine coast ,although we’ve had some wet days here since I arrived.
Lots of new releases being previewed on this issue, from some of our regular musicians who have graced the airways.
Unusual these days is a vinyl release from this scene, so dust off those turntables, it’s a new double LP release by Craig Padilla called Sonar, music influenced by the kosmische sound, not available on any other format.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir (February 25, 1841 to December 3, 1919) was a French painter originally associated with the Impressionist movement. His early works were typically Impressionist snapshots of real life, full of sparkling color and light. By the mid-1880s, however, he had broken with the movement to apply a more disciplined, formal technique to portraits and figure paintings, particularly of women. Renoir mastered the ability to convey his immediate visual impressions, and his paintings showed great vitality, emphasizing the pleasures of life despite the financial worries that troubled him. Several of his masterpieces date from this period including Luncheon of the Boating Party.  Renoir had his first attack of rheumatism in 1894, and, as the attacks became more and more frequent, he spent more and more time in southern France, where the climate was better for his health. About 1899 he sought refuge in the small village of Cagnes; in 1907 he settled there permanently, buying the estate of Les Collettes, where he spent the rest of his life. In 1910 he was no longer able to walk. Although his infirmity became more and more constraining, Renoir never ceased to paint; when his fingers were no longer supple, he continued by binding his paintbrush to his hand.  Several months before his death, Renoir was able to go to Paris, where several friends wheeled him for the last time through the Louvre to view the masterpieces that he had venerated throughout his life. Renoir died in Cagnes-sur-Mer on December 3, 1919 at the age of 78.

607 - Island Dub

I write songs influenced by a certain mood or the wish to reflect events which happened to me. Sometimes a single picture can contain the idea of a complete song, sometimes a movie (or its music) influences me to write a track.Whatever it is, it´s always a request of my heart to tell a story.

I´ve grown up with the “New Age” music of the 80ies, with soundtracks by James Horner, Joel Goldsmith or Alan Silvestri. I´ve experienced the vivid pop music of that time as well as the great electronic music by Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Kitaro or Tomita. Jan Hammer´s exceptionally music for “Miami Vice” was the reason, why I started to compose electronic music.

Writing a song is like telling a story – and I hope you like my stories.

Hi, I'm a keys player and I like making up grooves to existing jazz and latin standards. Over the last few years I've been mainly working on original numbers.

It's just me in the music you hear, I play all the parts off a keyboard recording in midi and layer up into the finished version.

I started playing the piano as a kid , then took up the trombone and played for fun in various local amateur bands and orchestras. Then at 18 went to college and didn't do anything  musically  for many years. Started playing the saxophone and tuba more recently, and in the last four years or so got back into the keyboard which is now my main instrument.

I like making up jazzy  late night music & music you can listen to when travelling. Sounds like a strange thing but I find the most enjoyable part of a holiday is the travelling part, whether that's on a plane , train or even a car on a quiet road with some nice views. Looking through a window with a changing view, in a bubble of suspended time between two worlds, that's what travelling feels like to me, and I like to write music that sounds that way - http://soundcloud.com/markd54321/361-stolen-moments-320kbps .
