PHONE DATA RESCUE EPISODE 1.

This is a live, unprocessed solo guitar recording of a Louvin Brothers song, "How's The World Treating You?", recorded in the office down the hall with my Samsung phone.  

It's played on an Epiphone 6/12 doubleneck, both necks at the same time, unprepared, or probably lightly prepared with a knitting needle stuck somewhere. I'm pretty sure the tuning is lost forever, which sucks because it was a good one.  The top string of the 12-string neck is an .063 I think, that's a bass string, and the nut is now broken in that spot, which is why it's a 17-string guitar. Recorded November 2014 I think, in preparation for a set of solo guitar music.

Originally released on BVHAAST in 1979, the album is a half-hour sifting of jazz history and its intersections with classical harmony, all viewed through the cracked frame of a master troublemaker. This track is the bones of what would become the ICP Orchestra classic, "De Sprong, O Romantiek der Hazen".
