Marco Tipa Aka Markez was born on May 22, 1993 in Palermo, Italy. At the age 6 he started studying classical guitar, but after just 6 months he changed and began taking piano lessons, his first love. He studied intensively for 7 years and everyone could see how talented he was. At the age of thirteen, Marco tried the first exam at the conservatory of Palermo, but being the number of students who could be admitted in very low, though passing the exam brilliantly (he was seventieth out of 240 participants) he wasn't admitted to the course. After 1 year he tried again and was evaluated thirtieth, so he was admitted to the course: unfortunately during his studies he was victim of a road accident which prevented him from playing again the piano. Marco wasn't discouraged though, his love for music was too strong so he turned to the deejaying art, which became his second love.
