Once upon a time, in a remote village surrounded by majestic mountains, there was a mysterious man with a long red beard, always enveloped in the smoke of his pipe. This man was known as "Mr. Duduk." It was said that he possessed a magical duduk, capable of enchanting anyone who listened to it. It was said that this ritual had the power to connect people like in a great neural network, allowing them to share thoughts, emotions, and energies in a single harmony.
Thanks to the sound of the duduk and the power of the ritual, people felt part of something greater, immersed in a sea of shared emotions and knowledge. The magical initiatory ritual had the power to unite people in a single consciousness, transforming their existence into a shared experience of magic and universal understanding.

A Brief Utopia (A project by Jinjé) A Brief Utopia was born from an EP released earlier this year by Jinjé (aka, Lee J Malcolm from Vessels) on Scene Unseen. Stepping away from his usual production duties and focusing more on his passion for live drumming and percussion instruments. This was the starting block for much of the composition on the this record. He quickly realised that this would be a brilliant thing to do live and reached out to fellow musicians Danny Templeman (Submotion Orchestra, Gentleman’s DubClub) and Nathan Moseley (Fwar, Brolin) to put together a high energy show aimed at clubs and festivals alike.A Brief Utopia brings a colourful, vibrant and visually engaging experience. Drawing on a love of music from around the world focused through a lens of live drumming, tuned percussion and psychedelic synth work.

Derrok is the alias of 25 year old Chilean producer Joaquin Roca and the latest contributor to the Métron Musik Mixtape series. 13 is unlucky for some, but not us, as MMM:013 is a thin slice of Andean electronic goodness. I spoke with Joaquin about producing a mixtape, and we’re delighted that he’s chosen us to promote his latest works before he departs on an epic cycling trip across Chile.

Derroks sound is rich in detail and scope, balancing traditional latin themes and ancient ritualistic sounds with modern house and electronica, there’s also some unexpected and unusual diversions along the way. At it’s core though the music on offer here is tribal and rural sounding. It feels like taking a trip back in time to a more primitive and dynamic time in the human experience

Die Tage ziehen dahin und mit jedem weiteren Tag steigt die Freude auf das Weihnachtsfest. Die letzten Tage und Wochen haben dem Kranich wieder einmal gezeigt wie wundervoll diese Zeit sein kann. In seinen Räumen treffen sich liebe Menschen, spielen zusammen Musik ab und andere wiederum tanzen dazu. Musik verbindet uns, weckt Gefühle, lässt neue entstehen und bringt uns einander näher. So näherten sich auch unser Kranich und Bonfante einander an. Bonfante kam über die KAMAI Familie zu uns aufs Dach und hat uns von Anfang an mit ihrer Art und ihrem Sound begeistert. Ihre offene Art, wie sie auf Menschen zugeht, findet sich auch in ihren Sets wieder, immer offen für neue Klänge, scheint es bei ihr keine Genregrenzen zu geben. Sie kombiniert und variiert nach Herzenslaune und verliert dabei nie die Kontrolle über den Stimmungsbogen und den zum Tanz antreibenden Beat. Daher freuen wir uns sehr, dass sie uns den letzten Podcast in 2018 schenkt. Wir sagen lieben DANK und schenken ihn an euch weiter - haben wir Spaß, seien wir Kranich!
