One for the ages, literally.  R. Newman keys open, then 60s Chicago style brass morphs to 40s Big Band jazzy, 50s crooner vocal slides in singing 60’s yacht, passes to 70s wailing guitar, fade with cross-era piano & sax jam.  Quite a journey guys.

Well, it sounds like you made it through this one with ease Mark, and I have to say a terrific job was done by everyone involved. The intro put me in mind of something like you would find used for an American TV series, and it had that vibe about it. Really enjoyed this one, and the production is first class.

I had a dream, and I wrote this song not to forget it. 

Technical highlights: hand played bass, slightly odd riff on chorus (15/2) & some extra psychedelia.

Using Paul Revere's famous night-time ride alerting people of the coming of the red coats, Light The Lanterns serves as a contemporary warning to light the lanterns again, this time, for the enemy within the US Administration.
Smart people doing wrong always perplexes me.
Religious people supporting wrong raises concerns about faith claims of following truth.
Political parties  and governments oppressing people causes alarms to ring out.
