Leftroom label boss Matt Tolfrey and Visionquest affiliate Ryan Crosson have partnered to present ‘Don’t Be Leftout’ an exceptional compilation of exclusive tracks and remixes. Matt who’s had recent success with his ‘Word Of Mouth’ LP gives us some insight into the collaboration – ‘Myself and Ryan are old friends, so we’ve planned to do something since he moved to London. The idea of spending time in the studio together mixing a compilation, and then having the chance to tour it just seems like an opportunity we couldn’t miss. Every track we’re putting on the compilation is an exclusive to the mix, including new tracks from Ryan solo and as part of his Sweatshops boys project, and lots of edits and remixes by myself and Ryan, so we’re making it as special as it can be.’

The mix includes exclusive tracks or remixes by leading electronic music producers Jay Haze & Ricardo Villalobos, Larry Heard as Mr Fingers, Huxley, Luke Solomon, H-Foundation & Blakkat, Pezzner, William Kouam Djoko, Gavin Herlihy, Lil Mark, Sam Russo, Geddes, Maher Daniel & Ostrich, Jack Riley, Canal & Garfield, Hugo Barritt and Benedetto & Farina feat Jaw from dOP.

The compilation is well programmed, as you’d expect from Tolfrey and Crosson, and maintains a great level of energy from start to finish. Beginning with the deep and introspective ‘Your Smile’ and moving into foot stomping territory by the time we get to ‘Hypnosis’, the mix continues to unfold well and by the time we’re at ’1994′ we’re onto some serious jacking business. It’s hard to pick a personal favourite as every track is a winner and there’s something to satisfy the craving of any house head, however the Sweatshop Boys – ‘Wanna Be More’ stands out as a highlight in a superior selection.

The whole show is a tribute to the Late Rishi K. (Rishi Karim) who passed away on Thursday 28th of December RIP.
Rishi made wanted to make music to allow people to go deeper into themselves and have a share a spiritual and hopefully a healing experiences.  He was based in San Francisco where he was producing and DJing deep and tech house music since 2011. Since then he had released his sounds on so many trusted well respected labels within the genre that we now call deep house.

I have considered Rishi a good friend and we never lost touch we would regularly talk and even at some unsightly hours as both of us were awake till early morning. I miss him, as do so many other people that have been blessed to of shared part of his brief time on this earth. His spirit and his soul will live on in the music he made, because when you listen to his music you can hear him and the way he felt at that time, and he put more than just sounds down he gave us himself in his creations. When I first heard that we had lost this great man I was so upset that I found it hard to talk about him so I sat down pulled together a large collection of his music and played it through the night and in doing so I mixed this show. Here is a couple of hours of the mix I hope you don't just enjoy, I hope you listen to Rishi's Music, because that is him sharing his talents and his thoughts with us. My love and prayers go out to Rishi's Family As on That day they lost not just a son but also a farther. 
May they both find peace in which ever heaven they believed in.

Hi my name is Mark Mac.
“I love my family and my life, my only other passion is music” 
I’ve been a dance DJ in many clubs and bars up and down the UK and across Europe. I’ve worked with a number of radio stations doing Deep House, House and Chillout shows for over the last 20 years, In that time I’ve mixed it up with world famous Djs from all around the globe. 
The Sounds Collective show was born in May of 2011 as part of my passion for dance music. It has grown at an amazing rate with the support and help of good friends and new friends I have met along the way. 
 On My shows I play the newest and finest in Deep House, House music, and chilled beats. The show has been honoured with many amazing world class Labels Artists and Dj’s.
Labels like UM Records, Deepwit Recordings, Itom Records, Ready Mix Records, Fierce Angel, Hed Kandi, SeamlessDeep, Redbox Records and Deep Site Recordings.
 The line up of Guest Dj’s who have appeared on the shows include Andrew Weatherall, Rishi K., Paul Cassidy, Moti Brothers, Tom Lown, Portofino Sunrise, Rory Cochrane, Broadcasting, Ben Sowton, Marshall Jefferson, Mark Doyle, Terry Hunter, Graham Sahara, Graham Park.  John Jones, Dave Pearce, Terry Farley, Paul Oakenfold to name but a few.
 I have been influenced by music all my life from 70s Funk to Funky House but I am truly blessed to be able to share my Passion and love for Deep House with The Sounds Collective on 107.3 Stafford FM. DHR 104.9 Fm and LDNFM I have several Tracks that I have released featuring both Deep House And Organic house. on Deepwit Recordings, Batavia Records, Sound Vessel Records M-Sol Deep Be Adult Music And Be Adult Weapons.
