BIO:
Currently residing in the North East, UK, Rory has been Djing for over 15 years. His early influences was generally the whole US west coast house scene, in particular the early Naked Music vibe, Dubtribe Sound System, Miguel Migs, Rasoul, Andy Caldwell, JT Donaldson & Lance Desardi. 
Other of Rory's faves and influences include the likes of Calum Walker, Brendan Costigane, Jimpster, Charles Webster, Vincenzo, Dj Ino, Schmoov & Crazy P. This distinctive sound and its influence is obvious when you hear him work a crowd in that individual and unique way that Rory has made his own by giving you that characteristic Cochrane deep house therapy. Rory's passion for Deep house music has brought him up to the present day, now running quality labels Deep Site Recordings & Deep Site Vinylized with Croatian dj/producer and good friend Tom Krizic (DJ Funtom) as well as working on some interesting production projects of his own. Thomas + James are a DJ & production duo from Glasgow’s West End. Growing up surrounded by electronic music, they began experimenting with production apps at just 10 years young and mixing on decks by 13. Clubbing in Glasgow has nurtured, shaped and matured their sound, with the backdrop of world renowned clubs like Sub Club, The Berkeley Suite and La Cheetah where they have flourished over a year long residency.

Following an introduction by a well known native, it was obvious the duo's sound was highly aligned with Verdant Recordings, fusing deep house, dub techno and minimal grooves. For  a teenage duo, their sound is refined, seasoned and well informed.

Insignia EP drifts between hazy dub techno textures and stripped-back deep minimal house with a 'wee hours' dance floor focus. Patiently arranged tracks swell with warm low-ends, atmospheric pads and precision tuned percussion. Ulf & Ralf revise the title track in their unique and unpredictable fashion for a gentler comedown.

This week on The Sounds Collective Deep House, House and Chillout We Welcomed our 2nd new Resident Dj Mr Michael Oberling..
Michael is a jazz musician by trade. He began DJing while attending Columbia College Chicago, he hosted a successful radio show on Souljack Digital and held a handful of residencies before relocating to California in 2014.

Michael started producing electronic music in early 2015 and soon released his first EP on DeepStitched Records in early 2016 under the former alias Michael Lee. Michael pulls his inspiration from jazz, specifically the era of Miles Davis, Coltrane, Chet Baker etc. His first introduction to electronic music was from Everything But The Girl's Walking Wounded album, which his mother purchased second-hand.

His love for deep, soulful music, is expressed through each new release, combining his trumpet playing, vocals and jazz musical knowledge. Michael makes music that everyone can listen, dance to, and connect with on all levels. He did us an exclusive mix and he will be with us 3rd week of every month on deephouse-radio.com Saturday Night at 7pm.

Part 2 is from 7:30am when the sun started rising so I went retro, starting with some Acid House & then swiftly into New York Garage & Deep House. After that I went into Disco, then Funk, Rap, Soul & finished up by playing some of my favourite Ska. We wrapped up the party at lunch time. What a night & morning that was. Simply magical. Hi my name is Mark Mac.
“I love my family and my life, my only other passion is music” 
I’ve been a dance DJ in many clubs and bars up and down the UK and across Europe. I’ve worked with a number of radio stations doing Deep House, House and Chillout shows for over the last 20 years, In that time I’ve mixed it up with world famous Djs from all around the globe. 
The Sounds Collective show was born in May of 2011 as part of my passion for dance music. It has grown at an amazing rate with the support and help of good friends and new friends I have met along the way. 
 On My shows I play the newest and finest in Deep House, House music, and chilled beats. The show has been honoured with many amazing world class Labels Artists and Dj’s.
Labels like UM Records, Deepwit Recordings, Itom Records, Ready Mix Records, Fierce Angel, Hed Kandi, SeamlessDeep, Redbox Records and Deep Site Recordings.
 The line up of Guest Dj’s who have appeared on the shows include Andrew Weatherall, Rishi K., Paul Cassidy, Moti Brothers, Tom Lown, Portofino Sunrise, Rory Cochrane, Broadcasting, Ben Sowton, Marshall Jefferson, Mark Doyle, Terry Hunter, Graham Sahara, Graham Park.  John Jones, Dave Pearce, Terry Farley, Paul Oakenfold to name but a few.
 I have been influenced by music all my life from 70s Funk to Funky House but I am truly blessed to be able to share my Passion and love for Deep House with The Sounds Collective on 107.3 Stafford FM. DHR 104.9 Fm and LDNFM I have several Tracks that I have released featuring both Deep House And Organic house. on Deepwit Recordings, Batavia Records, Sound Vessel Records M-Sol Deep Be Adult Music And Be Adult Weapons.
