Another Chance to hear The Sounds Collective from Sat 4th October With Tim Andresen  and Mark Mac which was Broadcast live on Stafford FM.

My Guest on The Sounds Collective this week Was Record Producer,  Remixer,  DJ, An Event organizer and  label owner, Tim Andresen he has his fingers in many pies and is the founder of the highly acclaimed What Happens label.
His early days as a DJ and the hunt for vinyl started as far back as 1986 but it wasn’t until the late nineties he propelled to local fame. In 2001 he dropped out of normal society, dedicating his life to music and hasn’t looked back since.
He is the founder of the highly acclaimed What Happens label and it’s now home to some of the finest talents in underground house music while constantly building it’s reputation.
One to follow his dreams through equal parts of talent and hard work, Tim is an artist who enjoys the writing, production, engineering and arrangement of his own records. Recently he has been serving an array of house music on quality labels such as Savoir Faire Musique, Natural Rhythm, UM Records, Ready Mix Records, Soulman Music, Seamless, Southpark Recordings, Starlight Unlimited, Elevation Recordings, Gartenhaus, Deso, DeepWit Recordings and of course his own What Happens imprint. It already seems a long time since he released on the UK's longest running house label Azuli being the man behind one of clubland’s biggest tracks of 2007 called “Everybody” but also on Toolroom as one of the "Leaders of the new school" and on Southern Fried as half part of Professional Losers being dubbed "the next big Danish housers" by IDJ. For well over a decade he has not only seen his name appear regularly in the charts but also had wide support across the electronic spectrum from DJs such as Steve Lawler, Maya Jane Coles, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli, Laurent Garnier, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo through to Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong and Fatboy Slim whom he was also personally asked to remix (#1 UK Buzz Chart). Add to that he did compilation CDs while record sales were still something to talk about. Most notably, he was asked by Ministry of Sound to mix and compile the critically acclaimed volume 1 of Ministry Sessions. They described him "Denmark's busiest house DJ" and that later led on to playing the international MoS tour.
These days see DJs come and go but Tim remains at the very frontline of the Scandinavian club scene as one of just a few DJs out of Denmark with truly international reach. His global success as a producer has given further rise to his profile as a DJ and seen him perform in more than 35 different countries across Europe and far-flung destinations in Asia and South America. That includes the legendary terrace at Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, the world’s biggest club Privelegé, Ministry Of Sound in London and Fabric that labeled him "Denmark's finest export". At home ground he is the main resident at the famous Culture Box, one of the most sought after positions for DJs in all of Denmark. Month in month out, he rubs shoulder and plays with some of the most prolific DJs on earth including Joris Voorn, James Zabiela, Steve Lawler, Maya Jane Coles, Nic Fanciulli, Nick Curly, Shonky and Nicole Moudaber, helping to secure the club it’s unique position with worldwide recognition and 5 awards for Best Danish Club. His skills haven’t gone unnoticed and personal recognition came through awards for "Best DJ" at Club Awards and "Most Popular Nordic DJ" by Megamind. Not to forget he was asked by legends like Nick Warren and Mark Knight to join for memorable back-to-back sets. The latter described Tim’s party "one of the best Friday nights in the world" in The Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1.
Tim has his fingers in many pies and his list of accolades is longer than your arm. After so many years of DJing and making music, Tim continues to spread his sound far and wide and push the scene forward.

Hi my name is Mark Mac.
“I love my family and my life, my only other passion is music” 
I’ve been a dance DJ in many clubs and bars up and down the UK and across Europe. I’ve worked with a number of radio stations doing Deep House, House and Chillout shows for over the last 20 years, In that time I’ve mixed it up with world famous Djs from all around the globe. 
The Sounds Collective show was born in May of 2011 as part of my passion for dance music. It has grown at an amazing rate with the support and help of good friends and new friends I have met along the way. 
 On My shows I play the newest and finest in Deep House, House music, and chilled beats. The show has been honoured with many amazing world class Labels Artists and Dj’s.
Labels like UM Records, Deepwit Recordings, Itom Records, Ready Mix Records, Fierce Angel, Hed Kandi, SeamlessDeep, Redbox Records and Deep Site Recordings.
 The line up of Guest Dj’s who have appeared on the shows include Andrew Weatherall, Rishi K., Paul Cassidy, Moti Brothers, Tom Lown, Portofino Sunrise, Rory Cochrane, Broadcasting, Ben Sowton, Marshall Jefferson, Mark Doyle, Terry Hunter, Graham Sahara, Graham Park.  John Jones, Dave Pearce, Terry Farley, Paul Oakenfold to name but a few.
 I have been influenced by music all my life from 70s Funk to Funky House but I am truly blessed to be able to share my Passion and love for Deep House with The Sounds Collective on 107.3 Stafford FM. DHR 104.9 Fm and LDNFM I have several Tracks that I have released featuring both Deep House And Organic house. on Deepwit Recordings, Batavia Records, Sound Vessel Records M-Sol Deep Be Adult Music And Be Adult Weapons.
