I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last posted on here! Well that’s going to change as I’ve got a whole load of unreleased tracks I found in my vaults that I will be posting over the next few months - including some S’Express stuff.

First up is this S’Express & T-Total track featuring international superstar Lady Bunny - Sneakin’. We did this a while back and it features Lady Bunny on top form telling the tale of a typical night in her life. 

Previously only heard as the soundtrack of a Vivienne Westwood video campaign. Loungy and laid back - a perfect cruising and seduction track. Enjoy!

The S'Express Remix Album is still coming! 

What has been the hold up? Well last year I was all set to release it with one of the major labels. However when it turned out they lost $2.1 billion in the last tax year it all went tits up. While it would be easy to blame the big bad record company, in this case everyone I worked with were great and really helpful. It just goes to show how messed up the music industry is right now and how difficult things are.

So it's back to plan one where I'm going to put it out myself (and hopefully not lose $2.1 billion). New mixes have been, and are being done just to keep it fresh and the mixes that don't fit on the album will be coming out as exclusive free downloads - so watch this space!

S'Express - Lollypop (Chris & Cosey Remix)

I found an old mix tape of me at Sign Of The Times from 1992. The sound quality isn't great so it won't sound so good on big speakers (it's mastered off a 20 year old cassette tape!) but to be honest it will sound fine on small speakers and your iPod. 

This is all live (and yes it's messy!), made under the influence of one of London's finest (and messiest) clubs… no overdubs or edits, just an honest capture of a moment in time with no Ableton or Traktor for sweat free perfection. 

I'll leave you to do the trainspotting stuff and see if you can spot the tunes. PART 2 OF THE MIX COMING NEXT.

Mixed live on machines but not by machines. I left a couple of (tiny) mistakes on. I like the flaws. A flaw is what makes something beautiful truly interesting.

Mark Moore - Very Beautiful Lips Mixtape

Here is an unreleased mix I did with Eon (aka Ian B) of Divine & Bobby O's 'Native Love (Step By Step)'. Our full vocal mix (completely different to this one) was released on the 'Jon of the Pleased Wimmin presents Female Trouble: Divine - The Remixes' album in 1996 but this one never saw the light of day. I just found it on an old acetate, blew off the dust, and digitised it for your listening pleasure.

Divine of course was the famous actor from John Waters movies such as Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Multiple Maniacs, Mondo Trasho and Hairspray. As a teenager sneaking into the Scala Cinema and discovering these films, Divine soon became one of my favourite actors and Mr Waters one of my fave directors. Meanwhile Bobby O soundtracked my early years in nightclubs. Obviously it was a thrill and an honour to do this remix of that seminal hi-nrg track from 1982. Hope you enjoy.

Here is the track that I was working on with Ian B just before he passed away. For a long time I wasn't able to go back and finish it but here it is now. It's the last track Eon recorded and I figured it would be good to put it up for all to download. Please feel free to pass it around, I'm sure Ian would be happy to give it out to everyone. 'Last Mission Helsinki' by Eon Vs S'Express

My new track 'Dreams Of Deja Vu' by Mark Moore & Roland Faber will be out on the 'Corrosive Tracks EP' on the Fetch label (via Hottwerk) on 24th June. It's a vintage house/Acid type of track that will give many of you some dreamy, deja vu moments. The wonderful Billie Ray Martin is on the background vocal while Miss Tobie Giddeo is on the spoken vocal (the same girl who spoke on 'Special And Golden' from the first S'Express album). 

The two other tracks on the EP are by Acid house legend DJ Pierre and one by Kinky Roland & John Taylor (from Punx Soundcheck).

FETCH RECORDS third outing joins the (micro) dots between the past and the future - three tracks laden with TB303 goodness. This, my friends, is acid.

First up, acid house's favourite son MARK MOORE teams up with long-term dance music institution (and Fetch Records head) ROLAND FABER for "Dreams Of Deja Vu", a caustic slab of twenty-first century dancefloor greatness, with Billie Ray Martin providing backing vocals.

Acid house evangelist DJ PIERRE takes the baton, stripping back everything to the wire with "Genesis Wave". Pierre expertly builds up a pure groove of 303 versus 909, culminating in some tuff acid for the late night floors.

The final destination on this trip is "Mastermind", that sees KINKY ROLAND going head-to-head with Punx Soundcheck's JOHN TAYLOR; the old-school is dragged kicking and screaming into 2013, resulting in a downright dangerous slice of acid house.

Mark Moore & Roland Faber - Dreams Of Deja Vu (snippet)

Mark Moore is known as the driving force behind electronic pioneers S’EXPRESS along with his number one hit ‘The Theme from S-Express’. But to most clubbers today his notoriety owes as much to his unique and eclectic DJ skills, as to his string of hit records and remixes. 

Moore was one of the first to play Chicago house and Detroit techno music in the UK. His ‘Theme From S-Express’ certainly brought UK house to the nation’s homes and broke the sound across Europe. Mark still produces, remixes and travels the globe playing an eclectic mix of electro-disco, twisted house, neo techno, alt-pop and whatever else he fancies to express himself today.
