Here is an unreleased mix I did with Eon (aka Ian B) of Divine & Bobby O's 'Native Love (Step By Step)'. Our full vocal mix (completely different to this one) was released on the 'Jon of the Pleased Wimmin presents Female Trouble: Divine - The Remixes' album in 1996 but this one never saw the light of day. I just found it on an old acetate, blew off the dust, and digitised it for your listening pleasure.

Divine of course was the famous actor from John Waters movies such as Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Multiple Maniacs, Mondo Trasho and Hairspray. As a teenager sneaking into the Scala Cinema and discovering these films, Divine soon became one of my favourite actors and Mr Waters one of my fave directors. Meanwhile Bobby O soundtracked my early years in nightclubs. Obviously it was a thrill and an honour to do this remix of that seminal hi-nrg track from 1982. Hope you enjoy.

Divine & Bobby O - Native Love (Mark Moore & Eon Multiple Maniacs Remix)

Mark Moore is known as the driving force behind electronic pioneers S’EXPRESS along with his number one hit ‘The Theme from S-Express’. But to most clubbers today his notoriety owes as much to his unique and eclectic DJ skills, as to his string of hit records and remixes. 

Moore was one of the first to play Chicago house and Detroit techno music in the UK. His ‘Theme From S-Express’ certainly brought UK house to the nation’s homes and broke the sound across Europe. Mark still produces, remixes and travels the globe playing an eclectic mix of electro-disco, twisted house, neo techno, alt-pop and whatever else he fancies to express himself today.
