Starting off the new year with the release of his first two-track EP 'Sunrise', Marko experimented with different sounds until he found the right balance between melodic parts and gritty electronic bass lines.

After the release of Sunrise Marko Drexler is following up with his three-track EP Illusion featuring groovy drums, dark percussive elements and arpeggiated melodies. During the production he has been combining influences from different electronic genres such as tech house, classic trance, and progressive house and gave it his own twist. 
The first track, Illusion, starts off with a groovy bass-line and eventually evolves into a trance infused breakdown part leading right back into the main part.
Blue Ocean features a mesmerising main melody accentuated by lush pads and sonar-like sounds, while Rift is a minimalistic track with shuffling hi-hats alongside melodic parts and a plethora of percussion.

With the release of Skyline, his three-track EP, Marko Drexler is exploring a new direction for his music by combining energetic, driving bass lines and percussion with melodic elements and leads. The contrast between rolling bass-lines and atmospheric breakdowns is underlined by synthesized effect sounds.
