Back in 2004, with the help of Charles Topping, we recorded a set with the crowd mic’d. This was the only time during my 20 years at Guv’t where we captured the energy of the crowd alongside the music. Aside from hazy memories and blurry photos, this is the only proof I have of the atmosphere that brought us together every Saturday. 

To those who weren’t there: it was even wilder than they say it was.

This mix was originally a double CD that Ultra Records put out. I have mixed the two parts together as the CD's were made to be mixed together anyway. This version has Sasha's Horse with no name Remix as I had always intended to use this track.. Ultra could not secure the license for it in time....

This mix is the full 3 hour recording featuring Roland and Steve Lawler live at Space in Miami back in 2003 which aired on 93.1 FM broadcasted live with Buster.
The mix is still in the minds of music fans everywhere and received praise even a decade after it aired. We believe music is timeless and this mix will take you back to the days of marathon sets and vibe creation. 
The mix features Roland for the first 2 hours and 40 minutes of the live recording.  Steve Lawler came in for the final 15 minutes of the aired portion of the broadcast.  
It was a special night at the original Space in Miami, we hope you enjoy the mix as much as we did.

I recorded this set for Ibiza Sonica's Rrrrrrradio Zulu Lounge show during the first week of lockdown amid the pandemic.  The world seemed to have changed almost overnight and my emotions were heightened as a result.  The music here reflects many of these feelings.  Thoughts were mainly on those suffering the unimaginable loss of loved ones.  With track names like "Ashes in the Wind" and "Holding You Tight When the World Collapses", you get the picture.

When the show aired live in Ibiza, the devastation in Spain from the coronavirus was at an all-time high and I wished that somehow the healing power of the music here could help in some way.  

Although much of the music in this set may sound melancholic, there are brighter moments and the aim of the last track was to offer hope and uplift spirits through the foreboding journey many of us are experiencing during such a difficult time.  Xavier's concluding comments sum it up perfectly; "Music is Love; Love is Music.  The best virus is love.  Keep your energy at high vibration!"
