We’re celebrating something special today as the Hot Series marks its twentieth iteration courtesy of a duo we’ve had on our radar since the inception of the label. Going back to back in time with this one as @maitoooo & @bjeor take charge of the next one in the series, providing us with a recording of their set at La Cabane from a couple of months ago. Both contribute to the Belgian nightlife scene in a multitude of ways, which led them to cross paths at @horstartsandmusicfestival where the pair quickly saw eye to eye and formed a connection on & off the decks.

As you would expect from these two, their shared love for house music fully comes to fruition in this masterfully curated mix with each contributing his own intricate layers to create a beautiful tale of emotion and sound. A warm up set is always tricky to do well, but Max & Toon demonstrate their mastery and prove why they love to play warm up sets, especially the long ones. Over a floaty three and a half hour journey, the duo ascend to 125bpm, maintaining a deep and steady orbit that perfectly set the tone for the night’s stellar festivities. Both can be seen traversing Belgium’s festival landscape this summer. Among other party spots, you’ll catch Maito at @club_affair and Bjeor at this year’s @paradise-city-festival . See you there ;)

As we enter into the summer months, Bull Horris' contribution to the Fuaim series is a much needed shot of sunshine. This vinyl-only mix is a carefully crafted blend of playful & energetic sounds of euro and progressive trance. 

Dublin based DJ and visual artist Bull has been a consistent presence in the local and international scene over the past few years. Tender co-founder and resident for Strawberries, their love of the dancefloor and the cathartic moments it can bring translates into the music that can be heard throughout each set.
