A lot of people have been asking me for a copy of this track so I figured this would be a good place to upload it. So a few years ago Paul and I went out to celebrate my birthday and it turned into a crazy wild weekend. He ended up making this track that describes some of our adventures. It's just a small memento of that weekend and I only made copies for a few people.
I forgot all about it until I heard the news that Paul had passed away. He was such a cool dude and a big mentor to me. It's a funny & catchy track, a true story and there's a few Chicago DJs that get shoutouts. 
My guy JC Hanna worked on it and now I'm sharing it with you all. I hope you like it, download it and share it even more.

I was in Chicago in Grant Park one Saturday afternoon in the 90's. Literally in the middle of a drum circle surrounded by hippies at Peace Fest. Out of nowhere a guy (DJ Diciple) handed me a flyer for "Rave KrispE's" with a picture of the crereal bowl full of little E's. Of course it peaked my interest so I took it and subsequently went to the party. I instantly fell in love with what would become my scene. I left home at 16 and found my family in the underground scene. After going to parties for a few years, in 1999 I wound up at a party at the Dolton Expo Center and heard a night full of House Music that I'd never forget. Roy Davis Jr., Paul Johnson, Glenn Underground, Boo Williams. That night I fell in love with House Music and knew I wanted to be a DJ. So I hooked up with some friends who were DJs, learned everything I could and started my own night at a local Bar called Rube's. That's where I payed my dues and learned how to be a promoter, DJ and Producer. Not long after that I started playing In other states and put out thousands of mix CDs. It's also where I met Alexis Moulds whose voice I enthralled me. I knew I had to record or perform with her so we did both. We'd travel to other states and she sang live while I played records. I also met Samantha Ryan in Austin, Texas who I had a fantastic relationship with and recorded a little bit with her. I thought her voice was absolutely beautiful so we did as much recording together as we could. This was all happening while I was in College downtown Chicago. In school, I met DJ Threejay and was recruited by Undaground Elements, one of the most well respected crews in the Chicago known for the classic "Southside Chicago" and "Yoshi's World" series. In 2001 Threejay decided to pursue other projects and handed over the reigns of Undaground Elements to me. However, we continued to play tag team DJ sets across the Midwest while still returning to class during the week. I played across the country alongside a laundry list of famous DJs and Producers. There's way too many to name, but I've done shows with everybody. Then I was lucky enough to be taught how to produce music by some of the very same Chicago Producers who first inspired me. "Keep on Dancing", "Drum Major" and "Jack Yo Body" were all well received by people who liked my music. In 2006 I left the scene to pursue other business ventures. But now, in 2011 I'm back in the studio working on a new E.P. and back out in the underground rediscovering my love for being a house music Producer and DJ.
