My co-writer was Hugh Thomas. The choreographer was Craig Revel Horwood (I wonder what happened to him?). The orchestrations are by Mark Warman.

The Greatest Show On Earth (from Hard Times)

This is a primitive recording of the opening number of a show recorded at the Embassy Theatre, Swiss Cottage, as part of a revue of my songs, modestly entitled The Resurrection of the British Musical. The cast was Linal Haft, Prue Clarke, Susie Blake, Richard Freeman, Pauline Moran and myself. That's me singing the first verse and playing the piano. The song was co-written by me with Alex Ingram (music) and Simon Levene (lyrics). I still like the harmonies on this one.
