Quite interesting. I like it. Bit eerie. Treading the line between clearly rhythmic music and soundscape, taking a while to establish its rhythm, and kinda getting interrupted by all the sounds. I like the weird vocal-like things in the late section.

That's good... very good indeed. I really like this ominous, subliminally threatening atmosphere. It's like sneaking through a dark room and you know that something is lurking somewhere in the corner. Very cinematic and very visual music! Turn off the lights and just let it sink in...  I like it very, very much! : )

Great layering somehow. Fascinating listen!

Like an artistic cartoon of sorts. Reminds me of the wild stuff on MTV back in the day, experimental animation.

Cool creeping feel to the rhythmic elements. Like sneaking around a haunted house.

Some of the fun experiments in this track:
* All effects in-synth. No mastering effects. LUFS low to minimize clipping.
* The track features 3 different main time signatures with some effort into seamless transitions.
* Melody / arp lines time warped with non-linear time-warping homebrew scrips (sinus and exponential time mapping).
* Multi-instrumental 1/8 echo delay. I.e. the delays are using different Myth instruments.
* Tempo is linearly changing between 90 and 135 BPM during most of the track.
* Sound design. Just random knob turning to taste, LFO stuff and effects.
* All EQs and reverbs are in-synth.
* Most volume mixing with MIDI velocity. (not 100% though).

Comment if you like but don't feel like you need to. I'm not happy with this one somehow. Feel like it slipped away. Don't feel like I figured out Myth so much. It is almost all init(as usual) with plenty of my own samples, some physical modeling, etc). Really tried to utilize what was special about Myth. But think I would have done better just with presets this time.

Created in FL Studio with Dawesome “Myth”, an incredibly good synth where you can lose focus very quickly if you don't concentrate. A wonderful playground that invites you to create all possible and impossible sounds!

The Myth

This is my entry "Mythic Odyssey" for the 189th edition of the KVR One Synth Challenge. All sounds were generated using the Myth plugin with a mix of free and included effects in Ableton Live 11.
I hope you enjoy it and feel free to offer any comments on how I might improve it if I do a remix for a wider release.

I aim to make some artwork for the track tomorrow as I needed to post it before the end of the month.
