We warmly welcome the Italian ‘BXR techno’ legend Mario Piu to Techburst Records! This man really does need no introduction, but just in case you weren’t aware, he was jointly responsible for one of the biggest seismic shifts in dance music in the late 90’s when the ‘BXR’ label was launched, along with his partners in crime Mauro Picotto & Riccardo Ferri etc. Mario later moved on into a much more ‘underground techno’ arena and it’s this dark & twisted vibe that he has now brought to Techburst. Although there are hints of his old & classic sound still present in these driving techno productions, this EP is as fresh and as bang-up-to-date as you can get..we are very proud to present Mario Piu!
