Currently vocalist for Unida, Patriarchs in Black and the Lost Beacon, Mark also sang for Riotgod plus more than a few other bands since starting his musical career. He has toured and performed nationally and internationally experiencing small club environments and larger festivals such as Wacken, Saupfitz, Desertfest and others.
For nearly 40 years Mark has been refining a vocal style one can describe as perfect for hard rock or proto metal, influenced by a wide range of styles and techniques. At 19 Mark made a choice and gravitated to singing after briefly exploring drumming. Self-taught -- it has been a lifetime of daily learning and vocalizing all while keeping his passion for the visual arts alive.

I originally wrote and arranged this entire tune using lo-fi computer software . The track is re-imagined here and contributed to (nameless band ) a group pre-dating Riotgod --  While Bob Pantella plays the rhythm guitar, the end part features Matt O'Ree on acoustic guitar and I am not sure if Alexis Lehman played bass ( high probability )

I'm Mark Sunshine. I'm a vocalist and composer. I have a variety of music I  in my head and upcoming. Outside of this activity I sing for two hard rock bands: Unida, the legendary So-Cal Desert Rock band and Patriarchs in Black, technically a duo ( think Steely Dan ) who have a variety of singers and bassists perform on their each of their songs.
