I wrote this track at 18 when my girlfriend lost her battle with bone cancer. I lost my father earlier in the same year. 
It's interesting that nearly 30 years on I never questioned or really listened to my own lyrics, they just came out, and that's how I coped. I'm only now listening back to this track and others I wrote around the time and realising that these things write themselves. Open your heart and let it pour.

A gentle melodic intro which builds to a hugely intoxicating rhythmically driven progressive rock chorus. Drops in timbre contrast with big hard drum beats and a classic lead rock guitar solo.
