Forgot I had your soundcloud bookmarked. Listening through it again and this is really hitting the spot. A lot of these songs are just the right level of dirty. Not so light that they'd play it at a jr high school dance, not so heavy that only the punk-electronic and death metal-electronic fusion fans can get into it. Instead it's just the right mid level of dirty sounding tones.

Hi, it's been a while!! Joined this comp kind of late, but finished a song in record time. It's a short song, maybe suited for a menu, but it's a song. Hope I can stay productive this way forever. 

Syncla-X has been met with some technical criticism, but I had a pretty good time with it. Percussion is always the kicker with synths that lack pitch modulation, but luckily we had a self oscillating vcf to come in clutch.

As always, all sounds made from scratch, with 22 instances of Syncla-X. Mixed with stock FL plugins. Ever wake up drenched in reverb? Me too.

Decided to do a new recording of an old one-hour composition I did on my 
new Tascam 424, as I felt I needed to at least do something.

This was weird to record as I have no gear to properly sync the Tascam and a sequencer, nor do I have any multi-out interfaces to easily send 4 tracks at once, so what I did was I recorded each part individually and used the fine pitch knob to sync it by hand, having a clicktrack as a cue. It was weird and really wonky, would not recommend syncing that way.

I accidentally forgot to put in some things from the original version though, as I kinda hastily recorded this, but I'll wait until I get a better way of syncing before I even dare to do that.
