The two principle members, Odyssey and Kyle Keiderling, started their collaborative journey with a song written in 2004 for the Sega USA game, [Shadow the Hedgehog]. The track "Chosen One”, released under the band name "A2”, has since become a game soundtrack cult classic all over the web and has provided them with a seriously dedicated YouTube following. They changed their name in 2009 to Mona Lisa Overdrive.

Hi, it's been a while!! Joined this comp kind of late, but finished a song in record time. It's a short song, maybe suited for a menu, but it's a song. Hope I can stay productive this way forever. 

Syncla-X has been met with some technical criticism, but I had a pretty good time with it. Percussion is always the kicker with synths that lack pitch modulation, but luckily we had a self oscillating vcf to come in clutch.

As always, all sounds made from scratch, with 22 instances of Syncla-X. Mixed with stock FL plugins. Ever wake up drenched in reverb? Me too.
