I wanted to put the listener on the opposite end as some of these very mundane encounters. I actually say down to write this, wrote "Nothing" on the top of the page and wrote the song from that. 

Wake up out of bed and I make myself some eggs, scrolling through my phone same thing as yesterday outside, the sky is gray.

My coffee is quite bitter, could have used another sugar but I’m troubled by the weather and this trivial existence so I make myself some tea instead

Check my list of errands can’t decide whats most important so I put down the paper tell myself Ill do it later but I know, Damn well that I wont

So I look out my window and see I see the people scurry fro and to, everyone is in a hurry always something to do, maybe one of them was you….

Then I make my way down town and I caught some indie film, don’t remember what it was but it left me unfulfilled but I don’t mind, cause  Ive got time to kill

Then I hit a bar and I had myself a pint, something light and red, should have had the wine instead, it was strong it was imported it was fine. 

Now Im making my way back so I call myself a cab and the driver wants to chat, the discussion was mundane but it’ll do, maybe one day this will be you

I feel a hunger pain so I order take away, but the driver gets here late and by the time the food arrives it is cold, so I left it on the counter in a bowl

Then Im feeling discontent Im as lonely as it gets so I send someone a text, even though we aren’t friends they will do, maybe one day it will be you.

I pick up my guitar and wrote a boring song, dont remember what I said, and I dont who its to, I cant recall. but maybe it was meant for you...

I've tried to go further than the original track. This one tends to focus on the dark atmosphere of the game. 
Mine tends to focus on the song. I imagined that song like a sailor hymn.

I've scored, create  everything except these stems.
