A four song EP, FUCK is an inspired meta-narrative modeled after the novel Erasure by Percival Everett. Each song is meant to emit irreverence, apathy, and animalistic impulse. Still, in all the ways his music sounds amoral, Turner’s FUCK is more accurately characterized by its deft performance of balance, its exciting musical pursuit of striking harmony between self-awareness and self-sabotage, between hedonism and asceticism.
