Hey guys,

Writing this the night before another annual city series compilation gets released. As is tradition with the compilations over the past few years, I prepare a special episode of Global DJ Broadcast to celebrate the release; previewing tracks from the upcoming CD, as well as dipping into the archives and showcasing some flashback moments from previous editions.

The city of Buenos Aires holds a very special place in my heart, and I am proud to be able to add it to the list ot cities featured on the compilation series. The Argentinean fans, and the fans in South America altogether, are so passionate for our scene and have embraced me so well with every visit. 

But hopefully this will also be a compilation for the world. After months of preparation and long nights the project has finally come to fruition, and it may be something you will admire and remember for a long time to come.

A privilege and an honor - the best way to describe playing one of the best clubs in the world, Stereo in Montreal, or ((( )))

Montreal is a very unique place in the world of clubbing. When everyone else is going to bed, the Montreal clubbers are just getting their night started. I was given the task of helping them celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving in the early hours of Monday October 14.

As a sincere thank you to everyone for your support and appreaction throughout the year, including this year's DJ Mag Top 100  poll, this is a small way of saying thank you. This is the entire 463 minutes of my set at Stereo. No cuts, no edits, just exactly how it went down. 

Hope you enjoy the journey. Just have some spare underwear handy in case you need it.

Markus Schulz - Marathon Set Live from Stereo, Montreal Part 2

Hello again, Happy New Year to everyone out there.

Another holiday related gift for you, and this is one I know many of you anticipate every single year - the Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase.

When I was growing up and getting lost in music on the radio, some of my fondest memories involved listening to all the classic songs that would be played, particularly on New Year's Day. So the idea of doing a classics showcase once a year on GDJB was born out of those feelings. 

It's always one of the most mentally challenging and emotionally demanding sets to put together, because somehow you want to create a journey that will be magical for everyone to listen to - regardless of how long you have been listening to all things electronica. For many of you, there will be a whole host of iconic tracks you will be hearing for the first time, and maybe even unearthed gems for the more seasoned folk. 

So hopefully this is something that will resonate with you for some time to come. As a new year dawns, we can take a moment to celebrate the tunes and moments that define our era.

Hope you have a wonderful 2014, and hope even more that we can create some magical memories together.

Markus Schulz - Afterhours.fm 7 Year Anniversary Set

One of the rising stars from Belarus is making his debut to Statement! Music! 
Well not interiorly, because he brought us a fantastic remix for his friends ANUQRAM already earlier this year. We are talking about Kamelon!

In the previous years Georgy Kovalenya, which is the man behind Kamelon, released several projects like Airway 7 and also his team up with UCast found its way to the trance fans around the globe.
The talent from Minsk has put together a mesmerizing EP for us to enjoy, in a new sound he created in 2020, diving in the world of progressive.

'If I Awake', which was already premiered by label boss Ruben de Ronde in his 'Madurodam' Live Stream, hints to the early sounds of the 2000's, with a haunting lead sound and amazing sound design, whilst 'Aerial' takes us on a journey in the deeper depths of progressive with a bell kind of lead to make you travel into a dreamworld.
