Hello again, with our now traditional year-end holiday gift. Since an early age, one of the biggest loves and passions in my life has been the radio. In particular, I was so moved by the period between Christmas and New Year, when suddenly what day of the week it is didn't feel important, and this was reflected with all the stations playing classic songs.

My goal was to take this inspiration towards my own radio show, and the Classics Showcase has grown to become one of the most emotionally resonating and powerful episodes for fans each year, whether current, long-standing or lapsed. A time to reflect on those we have lost also, and we think of Evol Waves and Stevie B-Zet (who produced as Vernon among many other names) no longer with us; it was only appropriate to pay tribute to their departures too.

Hope you enjoy the journey, and it's something you will want to download and keep in your collection for some time to come. Allow your mind to escape and let the memories flow. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year, and I sincerely hope that we get to meet again in person sooner rather than later. Thanks for sticking with me and continuing to believe in what I do.

Markus Schulz - Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase 2024 (2 Hour Trance Classics Mix)

The World Tour returns to Global DJ Broadcast, and finds Markus Schulz in Washington, D.C performing live in front of a packed audience at Soundcheck nightclub last Friday night. His set contains a large serving of unknown IDs and unreleased exclusives, as he gears up for a busy stretch of clubs and festival this summer.

The new music keeps coming from Markus, and following last week's release of his In Search of Sunrise remix of Death of a Star with HALIENE, the 138 techno anthem Ram Attack will be available to stream and add to your playlists from this Friday. Thanks for your support towards Markus' releases.

In a season of surprises, the pivotal influence of the wonders of radio on Markus Schulz isn't one of them. The theater of the mind, the friend who is always there no matter what time of day or night. One particular aspect of radio which deeply resonates with Markus to this day is the period between Christmas and New Year, where classics and championed tracks dominated the airwaves. 

A few years after establishing his weekly Global DJ Broadcast radio show, a new tradition was born; where he would honor and cherish those special melodies and words through the Classics Showcase. This one in particular is extra special, as it marks the milestone 20th edition; meaning that there are now some 40 hours of Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase episodes created with the special one to one connection towards the listener in mind. Hopefully there is one particularly special melody or song in there that means a lot to you personally.
