The ever-foggy view and the liquid atmosphere promised calm and general silence. But, just contrary, lost beats and broken patterns emerge from beneath the entropy of the forest, from every fern shaking and it screams from the distance like a high definition, silent river. 

This is a collection of recordings in different days, spots, weather and machines through 2020 and 2021 to be arranged later on again around the summer months 2021 into a single trekking day following the music.

Our fragment series continues. This month's story is told by Phases.

From Vilnius, Lithuania, Marijona's relation with rave culture and electronic music started a couple of years ago. Inspired by nature, he always tries to create a proper atmosphere for his hypnotic journeys.  

‘’ I like to wander in the forests that surround my place and watch how its changes through the seasons. Autumn usually slows down the pace of life that lets to dive into a kinda melancholic meditative state. This selection reflects the trippy walk in the foggy woods: it’s slow, deep and mysterious... you never know what is hiding behind the next tree ‘’

Our next artist is an amazing artist from south of France, Like the Inuit people, he composes music to tell his environment, from his perspective: a landscape, a wind, an animal. he gradually shapes a personal style, mixing organic rhythms and atmospheric textures, between poetry and intensity. His work has been featured on hadal-resonance, @oslated and is the co-founder of @melifera_records. His most recent EP on his label included fantastic remixes by @eyvind-blix and @forestonstasys. For this mix he curates a skillfully blended array of deep techno, eclectic downtempo and blissful electronica. French born and Berlin based artist, Mown has been releasing great music in labels such NORITE, Askance Discs and Circular Limited, focusing on different genres and styles, from deep and hypnotic techno to breakbeat. 

For today's podcast Mown created for us a very interesting vinyl set, with a great selection of tracks with some unconventional transitions, focusing on a breaky, tribal sound with a deep techno touch.

A natural-born digger, Mown has been collecting vinyl for years now, boasting an impressive collection that reflects his eclectic taste in music.

His journey into music takes shape with the release of his first EP “Coeur Du Triangle” for the French label and collective “La Chinerie”. Since then, he continues to explore the hypnotic and introspective sides of his techno. 

He has released tracks and EPs on the likes of Askance Discs or Norite Records, the latter of which he will release a new EP with by the end of the year.

Founder and owner of “Paradigma Records” established in Italy/Japan in collaboration with the Italian artist Drafted, will see the first release out this year 2019 under the duo's alias HIGMA.

Goodbye 2020. Last episode of 2020 is all about some relaxing tunes. My guest for the second hour of this month podcast is Orbe from Spain. He is an amazing techno producer and just put out his latest abum called Psy Visionary, which is for me an album not to be missed. A 4x12" box filled with so many good tunes, worth to check out! When I asked him to contribute, he asked me if he could record a more chilled mix, so we both agreed that we should leave 2020 with some time to relax. Enjoy and hear you in 2021.

I had the idea to start an own podcast series for quite a while now but I was a bit afraid to be honest. I wanted to keep it in a radio show format, as this is the format I grew up with and this was how I’ve discovered music. Also I wanted to do something different as I have a pretty wide range in music which I like. I get influenced by so many things so I thought it might be interesting for you to take this platform as the concept for a podcast. I will dig deeper and deeper through my collection of records and present it to you each month. It doesn’t matter how new or old the music is, it’s just about creating a good vibe to listen to, to enter another dimension.

Moreover the idea is also to invite guests, in irregular intervals - people I respect for what they are doing music wise and for the culture.
